Plans are largely now complete with everything in place to get Team Sail for Charity back competing hard and raising even more money at Cowes 2008. The boat is booked, the team is chosen and now the hard work really begins.
Once again Healthsure have confirmed their sponsorship for the Sail for Charity team to compete at Cowes 2008 - many thanks to Healthsure for their essential financial support.
After discussions with both Healthsure and the Ellen MacArthur Trust, we have decided to nominate the Ellen MacArthur Trust as our chosen charity again for 2008. The team's site on Just Giving has also been created www.justgiving.com/sailforcharity08.
Newseas boat Anticipation has been chartered for the event, and intensive crew training is planned pre Cowes to get the team in shape.

Crew Places
We are pleased to say that we now have a full crew. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control that would mean that people may have to pull out (e.g. injuries, etc.). So if you would like to go onto our "reserve list", or indeed if you would like us to put your e-mail on file as we mail out for future events, then please let us know via the Contact Us page.
Most importantly if you are able to join us at short notice during Cowes Week to step in if required, we would like to hear from you please ....
