Anticipation Photos

5 bullets upwind Please find below a collection of photos provided to us by Newseas (www.newseas.co.uk) of our chartered boat Beneteau First 40.7 Distincition Anticipation.

Currently THE most popular vessel for both corporate and race charter in the UK with over 600 people enjoying sailing on them in Skandia Cowes Week 2006. First 40.7 Distinction model Anticipation is berthed at Cowes, the home of sailing, and has demonstrated through last year's results that she is capable of contenting for top honours in the 40.7 class.

Anticipation has underwater foils and hull carefully prepared with through hull fittings smoothly recessed. Deck equipment is improved for ease of sail adjustments under load and extra strength where required.
Vectran laminate race sails by Sobstad and North include light/medium and medium/heavy number one genoas, 2 x no. 3, 4 and mainsail. The three blue North spinnakers comprise a vmg half oz, a 3/4oz runner and a composite 0.9/1.3oz heavy weather reacher; plus a North Code zero reacher and new masthead runner.

The calibrated instrument displays are exceptional and enable optimum sailing performance to the laminated polar tables displayed in the cockpits. The lifelines are padded for crew comfort and there are many rope tidy bags and Harken jib car adjusters.
