After a hard week of racing against some tough opposition, Team Sail for Charity on Healthsure Anticipation finished in 2nd place overall in the Beneteau 40.7 Class at Skandia Cowes Week 2008. Out of the 8 days of racing, our best 6 results which count for the placing include 3 firsts, one second and 2 thirds. Although the end result was the same as last year, i.e. 2nd place overall, we see the three class wins as a definite improvement in performance and we are very pleased with the outcome. Peter Newlands, skipper and owner of Anticipation, said "I think you've done really well, when you consider the quality of the competition we've been up against. Some of these boats spend a lot of money on new sails and equipment, and are crewed by professionals who train regularly together. To come together as a team just for Cowes, as you have done, and achieve the results we have achieved is very good indeed."
