Sail for Charity

A concerted effort by skipper Peter Newlands and the Team Sail for Charity crew aboard HEALTHSURE ANTICIPATION produced consistent results throughout the week, securing 2nd Place in IRC Class 4 and 15th in Black Group overall. Results of 3.0, 2.0, 4.0, 3.0, 2.0, 2.0, 2.0 from Saturday-Friday's racing secured 2nd place without the need to race on the final Saturday. Discarding Monday's 4.0 result gave us a Best 6 total of 14.0 points (with the objective to be as close as possible to the minimum of 6.0 points).

Andy and Karen Crosland, organisers of Team Sail for Charity are extremely pleased with the team effort - not only is this a great result on the water, but with the fund raising on our Just Giving site clearing the £5k mark for the Ellen MacArthur trust during the week we are both very proud of what has been achieved by everyone involved.
