Sail for Charity

Sail for Charity is pleased to announce that the final cheque was paid to Sail4Cancer today, bringing the total funds raised to £6,300. This is the total net of Gift Aid tax relief, which Sail4Cancer will claim retrospectively, pushing the total funds closer to £7,000.

Karen and Andy Crosland, the organisers of Sail for Charity are extremely pleased with this result, and would like to thank everybody who has helped us to achieve this total, in whatever way - including Sponsors (Corporate and personal), Crew Members and everyone else who has helped.

The money raised will enable Sail 4 Cancer to provide sailing weekends for teenagers living with cancer and their best friends, giving them an opportunity to enjoy a regain confidence within in a new sport.
